Yes, that would be us in the above picture, Mary Lyn Maiscott and Robert Rosen (“Bob” to our friends). It was taken in March, in Campiglia, an ancient Tuscan town. And it seems to capture something about our relationship—a certain je ne sais quoi—which is why we’re using it for our profile pic, too.

About those ads you see splattered all over the place: Being professional writers we like to make money with our writing, even if it’s only a few farthings here and there. This is one way to do it. So, if you’re feeling generous, click on an ad and send a few farthings our way. Also, I suspect the Google monster is more prone to send traffic to blogs with ads, and we would like to reach the largest audience possible.
