Yes, that would be us in the above picture, Mary Lyn Maiscott and Robert Rosen (“Bob” to our friends). It was taken in March, in Campiglia, an ancient Tuscan town. And it seems to capture something about our relationship—a certain je ne sais quoi—which is why we’re using it for our profile pic, too.
The basic facts of our relationship: We are married. We’re both professional writers and editors. (Mary Lyn is also a singer and musician.) We live in New York. For more detailed information about us, please click on any of the links below our picture in the right-hand column.
The basic facts of this blog: We needed a place in cyberspace where we felt free to post anything, of any length, on any topic, when we felt like posting it, when, as we say, “the muse pays a visit.” Welcome to our virtual world.
About those ads you see splattered all over the place: Being professional writers we like to make money with our writing, even if it’s only a few farthings here and there. This is one way to do it. So, if you’re feeling generous, click on an ad and send a few farthings our way. Also, I suspect the Google monster is more prone to send traffic to blogs with ads, and we would like to reach the largest audience possible.
So, there you have it. Please check back every so often, ’cause you never know when the muse is going to come knocking at our door, bearing (perhaps) a lasting treasure.
